thanks for including me on your mailing list! after reading a little of what you’ve written in the past, some random thoughts:
your thoughts about allee’s first day at school reminded me not only of my own on justin/cait’s first days, but also imagining the concerns of the mother’s of the “new” two year olds coming to school on their first day at children’s house. we teachers all knew the parent was filled with mixed emotions and that their little one would be panicked at first and end up loving their new environment by the end of the day. didn’t make it any easier on the parent, though!
loved your a-morrow story. someday remind me to share with you the story of cait on her third bday.
shared your “rant” about your students’ writings with cait, who is returning, any moment now, to lancaster. hope it registers with her.
glad to learn of your resolution to exercise every day! you’ll be in the best company. i know that your mom will be jealous of your, shelly and my mobility. hope her toe is healing quickly. my return to walking begins as soon as cait is off!
